We are in the double digits! WOW!
Ten whole months this little guy has graced us here on earth.
He has changed our lives completely.
Our whole family is pretty smitten.
Adiah is doing so many new things.
Walking seems to be right around the corner.
He is so close, it's scary.
He is already "demolition derby" on two hands and knees.
I can't imagine how quick I am going to have to be when he starts to walk/run.
Adiah LOVES cars/trucks/ anything with wheels.
Boys are just born with an innate nature to be drawn to them.
We don't have any boy specific toys in our house, yet.
We went over to a friends house who has two little boys and have cars.
Adiah went to them and started making "Vmmmmm" "Vmmmm" while pushing them around.
We have NEVER done that. He just knew and did it!
Well ,we didn't have any cars at the house so he would get our remote control and push it on the floor like a car and go "Vmmmm".
I know, I know. I felt horrible, He needed a toy car.
We were over at one of my best friends house who has two little boys as well.
One of them LOVES cars as well.
So you can imagine Adiah was in heaven when he saw all of them to play with.
I told her the story of the remote, and we both laughed.
Her little boy Ezzy, which is my adopted nephew and utterly adorable, decided to give Adiah one of his toy cars when we were leaving.
It was SOOO sweet.
Adiah fell asleep in the car holding it on our way home.
So he now has his first car (Thanks Kim and Ezzy, I owe you one)!
Firsts this month:
Visited Dad in Houston
Says "Du" for his toy duck in the bath
went to his first pumpkin patch
rode his first hay ride
painted his first pumpkin
got his first car
Happy 10th Monthday Sweet Boy!
